First Colorado Land Office Parades on the 4th of July

The 4th of July is an all day event in Buena Vista drawing not only the locals but crowds of people from across the state and across the country.  It is truly a small town party starting with pancakes in the park served by The Optimist Club, a 5K run, the morning parade down Main Street featuring tons of candy, toys and spectators, booths of vendors around the Town Lake in McPhelemy Park, music, quilt shows, games and ending with fireworks – of course.

The Buena Vista team at First Colorado Land Office joined in the parade fun passing out bubbles, bouncy balls, American flags and the requisite candy.  Lots of laughter, spotting old friends and new in the crowd and most importantly, celebrating together.
